Our new exhibition, Eva Rickard – the Raglan Golf Course Dispute opened on Saturday 7th March. The exhibit is on loan from Waikato Museum where it was part of Fight the Power: Protest and Change 1970-1990, which was exhibited at Waikato Museum from March 2014 until February 2015. That exhibition examined activism in the Waikato during the 1970s and 1980s.

The core Eva Rickard exhibition was curated by Waikato Museum. It has been supplemented in Raglan by additional items loaned by Rickard family members.

The exhibit was blessed by kaumatua Sean Ellison and opened by Paddy Kaa. The opening was attended by several members of the Rickard family, Councillor Baddeley and members of the Raglan Museum Society. It will be open for at least a year.
