School and Group Visits

Increasing numbers of school and other groups are finding the Raglan Museum an interesting place to visit. From primary school through to secondary school, from English language schools to senior citizen groups, or for a work outing, a visit can be tailored to suit a variety of needs. Tours generally last an hour and are led by a variety of local history experts and enthusiasts.

Group visits with guides can be booked for any time between 10am and 3pm, Monday to Sunday. Visits outside these hours are negotiable. Bookings are essential, preferably at least three weeks in advance.

There is no additional charge for groups and tours between 10am and 3pm. The normal entry of Adults $2 and Children $1 applies. An additional charge may apply outside these hours.

We would encourage teachers, where practical, to visit the museum sometime prior to their class’s visit to become familiar with the physical layout, and design a more focused programme for their specific age level and topic being studied. We are happy to help with this process so you get the most out of your visit.
